Riyadh – Mubasher: Halwani Bros Co on Sunday announced that it could not publish its audited financial statements for the first quarter of 2019 timeously.

The Saudi food producer noted that its ordinary general meeting (OGM), which was expected to hire the auditor for Q1-19 financials, was not held, according to a statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).

The OGM will be held on 20 May to appoint the auditor for Q1 financials, Halwani Bros added, noting that it will reveal its estimated results before the disclosures’ deadline.

Consequently, trading on the stock of Halwani Bros will be suspended on Tadawul for one session on 13 May.
